Amir School Boys' Primary School
The Amir School for Boys began its activities in the 1399-1400 academic year for working children, those who have not been educated, and those who have suffered severe social damage in the Imamzadeh Yahya neighborhood of Tehran. To launch the school, we renovated and equipped an abandoned school building, which was dilapidated and had become a hangout for drug addicts and illegal workers, by renting it from the Education and Training Department and with public donations. According to officials, 80 percent of the country’s social harms are in Tehran, and most of the social harms such as poverty, addiction, child labor, delinquency, etc. are located in the neighborhoods (Shush, Harandi, Imamzadeh Yahya, Oudlajan) of District 12.
The Amir School covers 150 students from preschool to sixth grade, and due to the special circumstances of the students, in addition to the school, it provides other units such as social work, psychology, entrepreneurship, charity, livelihood, etc. to them and their families free of charge. Our goal at this school is to “empower” the families of the students. In other words, instead of giving them fish, we want to teach them how to fish so that they can gradually get out of poverty and… and manage a decent life and each of these children can change their future. All school expenses, which include:
- Building rental
- Teacher and staff salaries
- Breakfast and lunch
- Helping
- Subsistence assistance
- Psychology and Counseling
- Skills training and entrepreneurship and...
It is funded by the public with cash and non-cash support. You can contribute to building a new future for these children and saving them from their current situation with monthly support (Niloofaraneh Plan), cash and non-cash.
