The reasons for students dropping out of school include family and livelihood problems, grade repetition, a harmful environment in the school, etc.

Abu Talib A.S. Institute, in collaboration with the Association of Supporters of Education Survivors, developed a plan entitled “Helping schools with the highest number of child laborers in these areas to prevent them from dropping out of school and officially leaving the educational environment.” By holding meetings with officials in District 15 and conducting field visits, we became familiar with a government school for girls and boys whose dropout rate had reached 200 in different years. We aimed to help the government school, which has many working children, and to prevent the production of dropouts and child laborers (because keeping these children in school until they have left the educational cycle is much less expensive and less troublesome than when, for example, they have been away from school for 3 years). For this purpose, we have been the “dean” of Amir Kabir School since 1401-1402 with the goals of 1- Empowering teachers by holding various courses 2- Holding remedial classes throughout the year for weak students 3- Counseling and psychology 4- Helping and charity 5- Livelihood, support 6- Holding celebrations and ceremonies, etc.

It is completely supported by public benefactors. After several years of activity, and with great difficulty due to the lack of financial and infrastructure support, we were able to reduce the dropout rate of this school to less than 10 people…
